UCPB offers 1Time Payment Facility to corporate clients

Usage of 1Time Payment among individuals who shop and pay their bills online has been rising steady owing to the facility's unique safety feature. Unlike other online payment facilities, 1Time Payment users are not required to disclose any financial information to the e-merchants and service providers on the web. Rather, they are given computer-generated codes on which they can encrypt their desired spending limit and set an expiration date. The codes can be used only once; new codes are generated if the users want to make another payment transaction.

UCPB is now making this benefit available to corporate clients. Recently, the International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI), the operator of the Manila International Container Terminal (MICT), tied up with the bank to make 1Time Payment available to port users through MICT's e-commerce web site. MICT, which has been operating since 1988, is the busiest, most modern, and largest container terminal in the Philippines with a capacity of 1.5 million twenty foot equivalent units.

Corporate clients of the bank who wish to make use of 1Time Payment must submit these three documents to their UCPB branch: an accomplished Enrollment Form, a signed Terms and Condition, and a notarized Secretary's Certificate. The documents can be downloaded from www.my1Time.com.
