What is a 1Time number?
A
1Time number is an alphanumeric system generated code that you
will use upon check-out at the shopping site. This will be the
merchant's only reference to your account with us. For added security,
a 1Time number is unique, it is used only once -- for one transaction,
for one-time use -- and it is disposed of right away.
How
long will my 1Time number be valid?
When
you create your 1Time number, you specify the expiration date.
For your own protection and convenience, we limit the validity
to one week.

How
do I get a 1Time number?
Log-in at www.my1time.com.
In your My 1Time Page, choose the enrolled bank account you wish
to use. Type in the amount and expiration date for your 1Time
number. Point your mouse on the "Submit" button and
click. If you don't specify the expiration date, the default expiration
will be the first hour of the following day. A unique 1Time number
will then be displayed onscreen and will be automatically listed
under your "Available 1Time Numbers".

How
do I get a 1Time number upon payment check out at a member shopping
site?
At the shopping site, choose the 1Time Payment as your payment
option. Click on "Get a new 1Time number". You will then be brought
to my1Time.com and you will have to log-in correctly. In your My
1Time Page, choose the enrolled bank account you wish to use.
Type in the amount and expiration date for your 1Time number.
Point your mouse on the "Submit" button and click. If
you don't specify the expiration date, the default expiration
will be 24 hours from the time you click the "Submit"
button. A unique 1Time number will then be displayed onscreen
and will be automatically listed under your "Available 1Time
Numbers". You can highlight the 1Time number and choose to
cut (ctrl C) and paste (ctrl V) the 1Time number onto the Internet
shopping site's check-out page.

Is my bank account going to be debited everytime
I get a 1Time number?
No. Your specified bank account (which only the bank knows) will
be debited the exact amount you need ONLY UPON completing a purchase
at the Internet shopping site. Very much like a check, your account
needs to be funded at the time the 1Time number is used for payment
at any of our Internet member shopping sites.

Can
I give the 1Time number as a gift to a friend or loved one?
Yes.
Another useful feature of 1Time is that you can give it out as
a gift. Just get a 1Time number, specify the maximum amount and
expiration date, then give it out to your friend or loved one.
The nice thing about the 1Time is that since it's for one session's
use only, if your friend or loved one did not use up the full
amount you specified on the 1Time number, you get to keep the
remaining balance -- only the actual amount purchased with that
1Time number will be debited from your bank account.

Can
I cancel my 1Time number?
You can cancel any of the available 1Time numbers you have created
in your My 1Time page. However, once a 1Time number has been used
at a shopping site, you will not be able to cancel it or do anything
with it anymore.

Using 1Time Number to Pay Merchants
I got disconnected
from the Internet during the payment session, how will I know
that the debit to my account has or has not taken effect?
Don't worry. ALL activities related to your 1Time number(s) is
logged in your My 1Time Page. You can always go to your My 1Time
information by logging in at www.my1time.com.
If your My 1Time page is open in another window while you're
doing payment transaction at this site, and you want to check
your 1Time page, do not forget to refresh the page by clicking
on the Refresh button of your browser to view any updates to your
My 1Time page.

What
happens if the purchases I made exceeded the amount I specified
in my 1Time number?
If you try using a 1Time number with an insufficient maximum
limit (i.e., less than the amount you need), the transaction will
not be successful and you won't be able to complete your purchase.
We suggest that you get another 1Time number specifying the right
amount or higher (provided your specified account is sufficiently
funded in your bank account) and enter the new 1Time number on
the check out page to successfully complete your purchase.

A
transaction error occurred when I paid using my 1Time number at
the shopping site, can I still use the same 1Time number to pay
for my purchases?
No. One of the security features of the 1Time number is that
it is disposable and can only be used ONCE. When a transaction
error occurred upon paying at our site, the 1Time number will
be considered "used". You must get a NEW 1Time number at www.my1time.com.
Be rest assured that your account will not be debited when a
transaction error occurs.
