Security & Privacy is Our Top Priority

We at UCPB, provider of the 1Time Payment Facility, understand that the privacy and security of our customers' personal and financial information are of utmost importance. To this end, we have taken steps to safeguard the information we receive online. Our goal is to provide you with the highest level of protection for your information passing through the Internet. And, as developments in technology continue to be validated worldwide, we will continue to adapt our products and services to meet the highest standards to protect and safeguard your information.

UCPB uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) that supports 128-bit encryption, the strongest Internet standard currently in use. SSL is deployed so that transmissions of sensitive password and financial service data occur using encrypted and secure communication channels to prevent eavesdropping and decoding of information. Transaction information can only be read by authorized web servers.

How We Use Your Information

We only share aggregate information about our users with our partners. For example, the percentage of users in a specific age range. This enables us to continuously build upon our knowledge of our customers, allowing us to give you better services and more conveniences. UCPB will never sell information about its users to other parties.

Sometimes you will receive an invitation to answer surveys or try out new products and services from UCPB. Your feedback helps us develop new products and services based on your needs. You always have a choice about receiving surveys or product information from us. Promotional e-mails you will receive have an "Unsubscribe" option.

When you enroll as a 1Time user, we ask you to provide us with the minimum amount of information required to create an e-commerce relationship. This includes your name, home address, e-mail address and bank account(s). We use this information to maintain your account, provide customer service, and update you about new products and services from UCPB and our partners. After you enroll, we will send you a welcome e-mail confirming your enrollment. If you would prefer not to receive future promotional e-mails from 1Time or UCPB, you can follow directions to unsubscribe in the e-mail. You cannot opt out of receiving service-related e-mails, such as transaction notices.

If you enter into a transaction with any member merchant or shopping site using the 1Time Facility, we only share one piece of information with that entity: your 1Time number. We do not disclose your payment information to anyone.

Your e-mail will be your username. The username and password are standard security measures to give you access and protect your membership.  We have included the security Q&A as an added measure for access to your 1Time information.  1Time uses usernames for internal and reporting purposes as a unique account identifier. 1Time never discloses your password or security Q&A to anyone.

1Time collects the following information about your purchases: the merchant site you have purchased from, product name, price and date of purchase. We use this information to report your purchases in my1time.com and to report back to the merchant site. You can check your transaction history for the month at any time on www.my1time.com

Merchant sites can view reports of all transactions initiated from their site. They will not be able to identify individual customers. They will only see 1Time numbers and the corresponding transactions done with the number.
