Jeronimo U. Kilayko is Director, President and CEO of UCPB. He is currently the Board and Exco Chairman of ASEAN Finance Corporation – Singapore.
He was the former Vice Chairman of Bank of Commerce and former President of Central Visayas Finance Corporation. He was the Director and President of San Miguel Properties, Inc.
From 1998 to 2002, he became the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of United Coconut Planters Bank, CIIF Oil Mills, UCPB General Insurance Co. Inc., United Coconut Planters Life
Assurance Corporation and United Coconut Chemicals, Inc. and on that same period he served as Vice Chairman for Dutch Boy Philippines and has held various executive positions in Asean
Finance Corporation-Singapore, He was a former Executive Vice President for Institutional Banking Sector of Land Bank of the Philippines and Bank of America. He earned his Bachelor of
Science in Liberal Arts and Commerce from De La Salle University.
Edmond E. Bernardo
Edmond E. Bernardo has 37 years of experience with UCPB since he joined the Bank in December 1977. He was assigned as officer of various branches in Mindanao and later became Region Head for
Mindanao Currently, he is the Head of the Branch Banking Group of UCPB. He is a Certified Public Accountant and has served in the past as President and Director of UCPB Savings Bank. He was
also a past Director of UCPB Rural Bank. He completed the Executive Program at the Ross School of Business in the University of Michigan and earned his Bachelor of Science in Commerce, Major
in Accounting, from the Ateneo de Zamboanga University.
Eulogio V. Catabran III
Eulogio V. Catabran III joined UCPB in January 2006 as Head of Treasury Banking Group, which offers alternative financial instruments to the investing public to include short term money
market placements, fixed income securities and foreign exchange services. He has 27 years of experience in banking and finance, including his service as Senior Vice President of Chinatrust
(Philippines) Commercial Bank. Mr. Catabran completed Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program in 2010 and is a candidate for the Master of Business Economics at the University
of Asia and the Pacific. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Management Economics from the Ateneo de Manila University.
Higinio O. Macadaeg, Jr.
Higinio O. Macadaeg, Jr. joined UCPB as Group Head and Chief Credit Officer (CCO) of Credit & Supervision Group in September 2003. He has 31 years of experience in banking and finance,
including senior executive positions in Equitable PCIBank, Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company, Solid Bank Corporation, Standard Chartered Bank, and Citytrust Banking Corporation. He earned his
Bachelor of Science in Management from the Ateneo de Manila University. He also attended the Advanced Management Training Program at Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania
Cesar A. Rubio
Cesar A. Rubio joined UCPB as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Support Services Group in September 2003. He is a Certified Public Accountant and previously held senior executive positions in
Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation and Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company, after starting his banking career in Citibank as an executive trainee and credit officer. He likewise served as Director
of Merchants Savings and Loan Association. He earned his Master of Business Management from the Asian Institute of Management and Bachelor of Science in Commerce, Major in Accounting, from De La Salle University.
Evangelina P. Samonte
Evangelina P. Samonte joined UCPB as Group Head of Operations Group in April 2004. She is a Certified Public Accountant and has held senior executive positions in Philippine Bank of Communications,
Solid Bank Corporation and International Corporate Bank. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Commerce, Major in Accounting (cum laude), from the University of Nueva Caceres.
Ramon B. Tañafranca
Ramon B. Tañafranca joined UCPB as Group Head of Information and Technology Management Group in January 2008 to manage the Bank's information systems and IT resources, information security,
methods and productivity initiatives. He has over 36 years of Information and Communications Technology experience with over 26 years in the banking industry. He was the former Executive Vice President
of International Exchange Bank's Information and Technology Management Cluster. He was also the former Development Center Head of United Coconut Planters Bank and Information Technology Department Head
of UCPB Savings Bank. He earned his Bachelor of Arts, Major in Mathematics from the Far Eastern University.
Atty. Jose A. Barcelon
Jose A. Barcelon joined UCPB as Assistant Corporate Secretary in February 2002. He was later appointed as Corporate Secretary and is now the Head of the Legal Services Group. (President- UCPB Gun Club).
He is also the Corporate Secretary of United Coconut Planters Life Assurance Corp., UCPB General Insurance, Inc., and Cocoplans. He has served as Director and Corporate Secretary of UCPB Savings Bank,
UCPB Securities, Inc., UCPB Leasing and Finance Corp., UCPB Properties, Inc., United Coconut Planters International, United Funds, Inc., Silahis Marketing Corp., Minola Refining Corporation, San Pablo
Manufacturing Corp., and Granex, U.S.A. Atty. Barcelon was previously a Partner of R.B. Ancheta Law Office and Mendoza and Barcelon Law Office. (Legal Head of National Food Authority) He was also a former
Special Legislative Officer at the Senate of the Philippines. He earned his Bachelor of Laws and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of the Philippines, Diliman.
Ryan B. Butalid
Ryan B. Butalid has over 21 years of work experience in the areas of risk management, investment banking, corporate account management, remedial account management, insurance and retail banking. He started his career with stints in
Asian Appraisal, Inc. and Joaquin Cunanan (PricewaterhouseCoopers). He previously worked with Allied Banking Corporation for 15 years where he worked in branch banking, investment banking, remedial management, risk management and trust
banking. He was also Head of Risk Management for Sun Life of Canada (Philippines) from 2010 to 2012 as well Chief Risk Officer for SunLife Grepa, Sun Life Asset Management Company, Inc. (SLAMCI) and its seven mutual fund companies. He
was with First Metro Investment Corporation (FMIC) prior to joining UCPB. Mr. Butalid completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Management Economics and Masters in Business Administration at the Ateneo de Manila University. He is a

Alexandra C. Deveras
Alexandra C. Deveras has 20 years of experience in the investment industry and joined UCPB as Chief Investment Officer in April 2007. She was later appointed Head of the Trust Banking Group of the Bank in August 2007.
She was former Chief Dealer of Solid Bank and former Head of Investments of Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation's Trust Division. She graduated magna cum laude from Menlo College (U.S.A.) with a double degree in
Business Administration and Computer Information Systems.
Ildefonso R. Jimenez
Ildefonso R. Jimenez joined UCPB as Corporate Secretary in February 2012.
He is a professorial lecturer in the College of Law, University of the Philippines.
He also serves as the Corporate Secretary of the University of the Philippines Foundation, Inc.
He is a former Senior Counsel and the Assistant Corporate Secretary of the
International Rice Research Institute (IRRI).
Atty. Jimenez was previously a Partner at Padilla Jimenez Kintanar & Asuncion Law Offices.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Economics and Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Philippines.
Pinky S. Derequito
Pinky S. Derequito has 32 years of combined experience in internal audit and credit review since she joined the Bank in February 1982.
She was appointed Head of the Internal Audit Division in February 2009. She is a Certified Public Accountant and earned her Bachelor
of Science in Commerce, Major in Accounting, from the University of Santo Tomas.
Stella Ma. A. Fulgencio
Stella Ma. A. Fulgencio has 31 years of experience with UCPB since she joined the Bank in 1983. She started as a Training Assistant, in Human Resources Department, underwent the Management Development Program and eventually held
positions in Customer Relations, Product Development and Management & Customer Quality and Management. She re-joined the Human Resources Group and became department head for HR Research and Special Projects, Manpower Management and
Organization Development until her appointment as Group Head. She earned her degree in Business Administration from the University of Sto. Tomas.
Franco P. Magalong
Franco P. Magalong has more than 30 years of banking experience. He joined the Bank in October 1991. He held senior positions in Credit, Account Management, Remedial Banking.
He was appointed as Head of the Supervised Credit Division – Remedial Banking in February 2005 and Head of Corporate and Commercial Banking Division in January 2008.
Prior to his appointment as President of UCPB Leasing and Fianance, he was the Chief Risk Officer and Head of the Risk Management Division of UCPB.He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management
from the Ateneo de Manila University.
Angel H. Mojica
Angel H. Mojica joined UCPB Savings Bank as President in September 2014. He has 39 years of experience in banking and finance, 36 years of which were with UCPB. He has extensive exposure in all aspects of Branch Sales and Operations, starting his UCPB career as a Branch Accountant, Branch Manager, Region Head and eventually Division Head of the Branch Banking Group's support units. He is a Certified Public Accountant, and he earned his Bachelor of Science in Commerce Major in Accounting from the Philippine College of Commerce (Lepanto).
Vincent K. De Leon
Vincent K. De Leon has 25 years of experience in Treasury since he joined the Bank in November 1985. While with Treasury, he has had extensive
experience in trading products from foreign exchange to fixed income as well as its operations and liquidity aspect. He was appointed President of
UCPB Securities, Inc. in March 2010. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics, from De La Salle University.
