Protect your account from online scams

Protect your account from online scams

Please be reminded that banks will never ask for your account number, password or your card’s PIN/CVV number via email, phone call or text message.

Here are some tips to help protect your account.

Don’t click links/file attachments from suspicious emails. Your bank will never ask for your personal and bank info through email.
Never respond to random text messages asking for your personal and bank info.
Never disclose your personal and banking info to unverified callers as these might be fraudsters pretending to be bank employees.
Don’t be pressured by alleged bank representatives who call to inform you that you will not be able to access your account if you do not immediately provide them with your personal/bank info.
Report these attempts immediately to your bank by forwarding the text message or forwarding the email to your maintaining branch or customer service hotline.
