Frequently Asked Questions

1. Where can I find the expiration date of my UCPB card?

The expiration date can be found on the front face of the card below the card number. This is the date indicated beside ‘Valid Thru’. Expiration date follows the format mm/yy.

2. When exactly will my UCPB card become unusable?

Your card will become unusable after the expiration date/month. For example, if the card expiry date is 09/21 or September 2021, you won’t be able to use it starting October 1, 2021.

3. What will happen after my UCPB card has expired?

You can no longer use your card for ATM, POS and eCommerce transactions. Make sure to have it replaced before its expiration date.

4. When can I request for a card replacement?

You may request for a card replacement at least two weeks before its expiration. Some replacement cards are now ready for pick-up. Kindly wait for an SMS/email notification from UCPB. If you haven’t received notification, you may get in touch with your UCPB maintaining branch or Customer Relations Center at (632) 8811-9111 or crc@ucpb.com.

5. Do I need to pay for the replacement card?

No. Replacement card is FREE.

6. How can I apply for a card replacement?

You may visit your maintaining branch to apply for a card replacement. Kindly bring 2 valid IDs.

7. How can I claim my card replacement if I’m working/living abroad?

You need to coordinate with your maintaining branch or Customer Relations Center at (632) 8811-9111 or crc@ucpb.com.

8. Will UCPB notify me on when I can replace my UCPB card?

Yes. Kindly ensure that your contact details (mobile number and email address) are updated with UCPB.

9. What will happen to my existing subscriptions linked to my UCPB Card (i.e. ATM Protect, Netflix)?

You need to re-enroll your new card.
