Update: Change in UCPB Card Limits for Online Purchases effective April 3, 2018

Please be advised that effective April 3, 2018, the transaction limit of your UCPB VISA Debit Card and/or eMoney Card for Internet purchases (eCommerce) will revert to the default daily limit of Php50,000* with the implementation of the One-Time Password (OTP).

What is OTP?

As an added layer of protection when you make online purchases, effective April 3, 2018, a One-Time Password (OTP) will be required when you use your UCPB VISA Debit Card and/or eMoney Card for online purchases at participating Verified by VISA merchants.

How does it work?

  • Upon finishing your online purchase at a participating Verified by VISA merchant, a payment window will appear and require you to input a One-Time Password (OTP).
  • The OTP will be sent via SMS to your registered mobile number with UCPB. Please make sure to update your registered mobile number with your maintaining branch.
  • Input the OTP into the payment page to proceed with your purchase.
