One Time Password (OTP)

Effective April 3, 2018, UCPB cardholders will need a One-Time Password (OTP) when shopping online from Verified by Visa merchants*.
*merchants may opt not to require the OTP

Your OTP will be sent to your mobile phone, so make sure you update your mobile phone number with UCPB.

What is OTP?

As an added layer of protection when you make online purchases, effective April 3, 2018, a One-Time Password (OTP) will be required when you use your UCPB VISA Debit and/or UCPB VISA eMoney Card for online purchases at participating Verified by VISA merchants.

How does it work?

Upon finishing your online purchase at a participating Verified by VISA merchant, a payment window will appear and require you to input a One-Time Password (OTP).
The OTP will be sent via SMS to your registered mobile number with UCPB. Please make sure to update your registered mobile number with your maintaining branch.
Input the OTP into the payment page to proceed with your purchase.
