Starting January 11, 2017, all fees for transactions done through the UCPB Mobile Phone Banking App will be waived.
The Bank has made free all transactions done on its Mobile Phone Banking App as part of its commitment to make its electronic banking services more accessible to all its clients.
“We’ve seen how more and more of our clients get accustomed to using the Bank’s Mobile Banking App for their banking needs wherever they are. Waiving all the fees is our way of thanking them for their loyal patronage. At the same time, it is also our way of encouraging more clients to use the UCPB App” said UCPB Vice President and Marketing Group Head Charina de la Cruz-Balanquit.
The waiver of transaction fees means all services currently available at UCPB Mobile will be free of charge.
Previously, the Bank did not charge on Balance Inquiry and Fund Transfer to Own UCPB accounts. With the new directive, the Bank will likewise cease charging transaction fees on Fund Transfer to Third-Party UCPB Accounts, Bills Payment, Load Purchase, and Transaction History inquiries.
“Over the past years, we’ve taken notice how our clients use our mobile app to check on their account balance and move funds from one account to another. For people on the go, the Bills Payment and Load Purchase options will be very useful to them,” Balanquit said.
