Unit Investment Trust Funds (UITFs)
UCPB Cash Management Fund (UCMF)
The UCPB Cash Management Fund (UCMF) is a Peso-denominated open-ended pooled fund operated, administered, managed and trusteed by the UCPB Acting Through Its Trust Banking Group (UCPB-TBG). It is primarily invested in time deposits.
The UCMF, a unit investment trust fund, is made available in units of participation where investors (unit holders) have a pro-rata interest in the entire fund. Each unit holder shall have uniform rights and privileges as any other unit holder.
This is ideal for those investors who wish to be able to maximize the yields on their excess cash and secure an alternative investment outlet for a tenor more than 30 days.
- Safety. An investment with shorter tenor is deemed lower in market risk since there is generally less price volatility.
- Higher Yielding. This fund should outperform regular savings and current accounts where clients would normally keep their funds for a few days before such funds are divested or spent.
- Affordable. Merely takes PhP 1,000.00 to access the financial expertise of UCPB.
- Ease and Diversification. A client can tap various deposit products of other banks (accredited counterparties) without having to go through the tiresome exercise of keeping track of their investments in various banking institutions.
