UCPB Equity Fund (UEF)

The UCPB Equity Fund (UEF) is a Peso-denominated open-ended mark-to-market pooled fund operated, administered, managed and trusteed by the UCPB Acting Through Its Trust Banking Group (UCPB-TBG). It is invested primarily in equities.

The UEF shall be offered to investors with a medium to long-term investment horizon (not more than 15 years), investors seeking a way to have a diversified holding of equities and appreciate the benefits and risks of the volatility of share prices.

Benefits:

  • Investments in the UEF are generally with higher risk. Its investments are stocks of corporations in the Philippine.
  • Higher Yielding. The yields of the UEF are likely to outperform fixed-income funds due to trading gain opportunities.
  • Affordable Diversification. A client is able to invest in a variety of equity issuances for just a minimum of PhP 10,000.00.
  • Potential to Increase Earnings. Aside from earning interest from the dividend payments of underlying investments, as market prices for equities move up or down, the client may redeem at an opportune time and reap capital gains. However, be aware that such redemption may also result in possible loss.

It is likewise advised that the client reviews the Plan Rules/Declaration of Trust prior to investment.
